Change is in the hair! In a world of such uncertainty, I have adopted the sentiment that change is a matter of perspective. Through these hard times, On The Rock Salon has made the difficult decision to permanently close. It was an amazing home to my business for 5 years, and I have built some life long relationships with some pretty great people. I will miss our little spot in Belmont Village.... That being said, I am excited to announce new change, in a new home! Hilary Taylor Stylist will now be located just 5 minutes away, in the heart of up town, at 11 Erb St. East, Waterloo. I can't wait to see all of my clientele, I know you guys are missing me just as much as I'm missing you! Stay safe, be positive and I will see you all soon in my new location.

It's with heavy hearts that our salon has made the decision to close our doors, effective immediately. Due to the measures taken by our government this morning, it's in everyone's best interest to practice social distancing. We are playing our part to #flattenthecurve I will be reaching out to all those who have appointments booked in the near future. Hopefully our doors will only be closed short term. On The Rock has partnered with the not for profit, Seeds Of Promise International charity, to do our part in helping with recent hurricane relief. We have chosen to target our efforts on the Caribbean Islands that were so catastrophically effected by the hurricanes. Most of which do not have the funds or means necessary to rebuild. Seeds Of Promise has previously aided some of the islands with their charity work, as well as done missionary work on foot. This means that the or...ganization has contacts on the islands who are receieving the barrels and donations directly and sending the relief straight to those who need it most. Together we can help everyday people rebuild their lives and do our part in the global effort of hurricane relief. We are collecting every day hygenic items, food, water, clothing etc. which are then sent in barrels to the Caribbean. We are also accepting monetary donations in any form; small change in the jar to larger amounts that are tax deductible. Please find in the above photos some of the items we are collecting and drop them off at the salon or on your next visit with us. Every little bit helps, and we very much appreciate any donation.
