Yesterday I made a fidget blanket for a 9 yr old boy with autism. His Mom said he loves the colour blue - and dinosaurs. I didn’t know what to do about the dinosaur part but googled dinosaur appliqué and found something I could print and trace onto fabric, so was able to put two dinosaurs on the blanket. His Mom says he loves it! She sent photos of him happily fidgeting with it on the way home from the porch pick-up. Feedback like this is so heart-warming and inspires me to keep going.

Today I got a delivery of thousands- yes thousands - of buttons! You can see I already got to work sorting some of them. Thank you to Edna Lalonde and St. Vincent’s!

Yesterday mailed a fidget blanket to a patient in Toronto, requested by his daughter in St Catharines. Word is getting around! Just finished these 10 blankets I am delivering today to Cornwall Alzheimer’s Society.
