Happy Easter from Waskesiu! This weekend the snow is almost gone. There are dozens of cyclists riding from town down the old highway, families walking around the streets, active camp kitchens with the aroma of great food, and lots of people out and about! Summer is almost here!

Are you or someone you know heading to Prince Albert National Park this year? Did you know there is an Early Bird discount on individual annual park passes, whi...ch will expire at 3 pm on March 31st? The discount is 20%. A regular individual park pass is $39.20 and will be $31.40 with the discount. A Senior individual park pass is $34.30 and will be $27.40 with the discount. There is no discount on the family pass (covering a max of 7 people in one vehicle) - it is $78.50 for the entire year (a reduction from the previous rate of $98.10). More details are at the PANP website: https://www.pc.gc.ca//pn/sk/princealbert/visit/tarifs-fees You can book your pass by calling the Park Office at 306-663-4522. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

I decided to try the new mini golf this morning. I went early and so I was the only one on the course. I am really impressed, it is a great 18 hole course with every hole representing Prince Albert National Park.
