And the Winners of the Hike Gift Baskets Are? But before we get to that. Thank you to all of the 2020 Hike for Hill House Home Edition participants and donor! Together we raised an amazing $20,000! Again thank you! Congratulations to the winners of the 4 gift baskets. The winners are Margo Brown, Rachel & Mike Leung Quance, Eleanor Greenberg and J. Competiello. The honourable mention prize went to Marie Elsey who along with her team and sister raised over $5,000.... Thank you all for your support of Hill House Hospice.

Read her comments below: Hike for Hospice Home edition: On Saturday September 19th, I did a 10K route on the Niagara Escarpment and Bruce Trail in the Town of Blue Mountains. It was a beautiful day, with beautiful views of Georgian Bayall for a great cause! I am so grateful to my friends and family who have donated to help me surpass my goals!... Thank you to the wonderful nurses, PSWs and volunteers, who are the heart of Hill Houseproviding the warm and compassionate care that Hill House is known for. Hike for Hill House Home Edition Update You have one more week to fundraise and complete your Hike for Hill House! So far you have raised over $11,000 for patient care at Hill House! Thank you!... You can drop off cash and cheque donations at Hill House Hospice on Friday September 25th from 12pm to 4pm and Saturday September 26th from 10am to 4pm. Everyone who has raised money online or offline will be entered into a draw for gift baskets. Draw will be held at noon on Thursday October 1st.!

TrailHike members put on their Hike for Hospice T-shirts and walked for 9 km to raise funds for Hill House Hospice today. Three cheers and thanks to these hikers! Our own Dr. Brian Berger has earned a well deserved award from the OMA for his palliative care work. Everyone at Hill House Hospice has benefited from his empathy, compassion and strong skill set. Thanks and congratulations, Dr. Berger!

Stronger Together...comes in many forms. Today I share a beautiful planter made by Alison, daughter to a loved one who died recently at Hill House. Alison graciously and lovingly created this vibrant arrangement and presented Hill House with this planter, placing it on our front porch. Thank you Alison for adding to the specialness when our families visit their loved ones at Hill House.
