Hello Everyone, Volunteers to help at the Mustard Seed Food Box Outreach Saturday December 23, 2017. This is going to be a great opportunity for Church in the Hills to be the hands of Jesus in a very practical way at Christmas. Location: Mustard Seed Community Hub 6060 Memorial Drive NE Calgary. ... Time: Event 4-8pm, Please arrive between 3-3:30pm to help set up and instructions. Date: Saturday December 23, 2017 Areas to Serve: Hosts/Greeters- provide an inviting first impression, give instructions, walk them through the facility as required. Café/Hot Chocolate Bar- provide a warm beverage Hot Food Bar serve guests hot bowl of soup or chili Activities/Games provide cookie decorating craft, coloring sheets, table games if available. Face Painting self-explanatory Santa’s Helpers do whatever an elf does? Hand out candy canes? Many of you have signed up for a specific area, we’ll try our best to accommodate that specific area. We’ve had overwhelming response for volunteers and that’s a great thing to have, so we’ll do our best to make your time a great experience for all involved. Everyone is invited to bring non-perishable food items. We will need some people to bring crockpots of hot soups or chili (some vegetarian options).
