Things are changing every day around here! We have expanded our patio to 10 tables and are now offering full sit-down service outside (takeout is always still available). We have added a large tent to keep you cool in this heat and each table is placed at a safe distance from the others. We have also brought back our daily specials! Our classic Bacon and Eggs breakfast special is available until 11:00am Monday-Saturday and 1:00pm on Sundays while our lunch and dinner special...s are available any time and change daily. Okay Orillia, you've been asking for months and it feels so good to say that we are FINALLY re-opening!! As of tomorrow (Friday, June 19th) we will be offering take-out again. Here are the details: -We will be open 8:00am-7:00pm offering breakfast, lunch and dinner for take-out only.... -You may place your order in-person or by phone, 705-326-8612. -When you are ready to pick up, please call or come to the door to let our staff know you have arrived and your order will be brought out to you. Debit and credit are preferred, however we will be accepting cash as well. -Our doors are closed. There will be no access to the building or restrooms. -All staff members have been briefed regarding new CoVID-19 guidelines. All surfaces will be sanitized often, ppe will be worn, and we will be practicing safe food handling and social distancing. -We will not be offering delivery however you may make arrangements with an outside delivery service if you please. -There are tables set up outside which we hope to be serving at in the future but for now they are available for you to use on your own after receiving your take-out order. -Some menu items may be temporarily unavailable as we await shipments. We would be happy to deliver an early dinner at that time but we wanted to let you know that breakfast and lunch specials are also available through the sponsored meal program (though we are short drivers in the morning so breakfast delivery is not as frequent). Donations came in and meals were delivered, the way you stepped up to help each other out made us emotional! That being said, we now know that this program is a success and we have meals to give out. We do not want anyone vulnerable having to go out and we know there are many people that are alone right now. HOW SPONSORED MEALS WORK: Anyone who is able to purchase a meal for others may contact us. We are able to process payment over the phone, your donation will be recorded, and that meal will now be available to be donated to someone in need. When someone contacts us looking for a sponsored meal we will have it delivered (or available for takeout) to ensure that no one goes hungry. It's the first full day with the dining room closed. Things are strange but we are hopeful that our community will pull together and support each other. Many businesses are offering to stay open in order to keep some normalcy in our lives and we hope everyone considers supporting local, small businesses if you choose to pick up essentials, do some local online shopping, or order takeout. Our kitchen is running and we are doing what we can to ensure you are still able to get your "Hill's fix". Treat yourself, drop off a meal to a loved one, purchase a gift certificate for a healthcare worker, bring coffee to your neighbour's door.
