The last of the first cut of hay is down. We will likely be baling it up on Canada Day

What perfect weather this weekend! We thought no better time to kick off the 2020 hay season! Our weekend started with cutting and we a 'wrapping' it up here this evening with wrapping some bales for better preservation. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend no matter how you chose to spend it!

Getting some rotational grazing setup and some hay equipment ready baler to go. We're going to get real busy in the next couple of weeks!
Its going to be a hot one out there today! I think these calves have the right idea. Find a spot in the shade and enjoy this early summer weather!

3 calves born this weekend! It was a bit of a soggy day today but these calves kept warm by the hay feeder close to their moms. By the end of the day the 2 oldest calves got to make the trip down to the larger pasture!

Excellent temperament, easy fleshing, strong maternal lines, and grass-fed genetics. This purebred Angus bull has been a great addition to our herd.
