Hello all, As the Covid-19 situation worsens and stricter measures are enforced to decrease exposure and flatten the curve, RMT’s have been ordered that we ceas...e operations until further notice. I had already contacted some of you earlier last week to cancel appointments - at that point I had suspended my practice for two weeks and was aiming to reassess at the end of the month. As this date approaches, it is quite obvious that we have not flattened the curve as we had hoped since cases continue to rise, therefore I will not be returning to work for now. Moving forward until things settle down and it is safe to return to practice, consider appointments cancelled. I will continue to monitor the situation and update you on when we are able to finally resume as scheduled. I sincerely hope you are all well and healthy. I do want to thank everyone who is doing their part in supporting our community and healthcare system. I have been thinking about you all and wondering how everyone is doing. To my patients and everyone in our community, I have decided to put my practice on hold until the week of March 30, or until otherwise advised, in consideration... of the gravity of COVID19 effects along with my duty to act in the best interest of my patients. While this decision was not made lightly, it was made with great heart to support our community during this tough time. Welcome, Joanna Proracki, RMT, our newest practitioner! Joanna has recently moved back to Nanaimo after many years of South Island living and has now established her practice with us at Hilot!
