Just reminding everyone it is testing tonight so there are no regular classes. We are allowing spectators at the test, so you can come support family members and friends going for promotion. Testing starts at 6pm. -Liam Forsythe

A big congratulations to Mrs. Michelle Pearce for her win in the Pan-American E Tournament on Thursday night. Her hard work in patterns definitely paid off, winning the female 36+, 4th-6th dan division. In light of the recent announcements from the NS Government in regards to gathering limits etc, we here at Hiltz TKD want to assure all students that we are following all Covid protocols. Classes are able to continue, however, we are asking that only one adult per child attending class be in the back room observation area. People watching class from the back room must wear masks, and maintain social distance. We will also be collecting contact information for those in the... back room for contact tracing purposes. We would also like to take this time to remind students to arrive at class in uniform, and please use the bathroom prior to arriving at the dojang. We have hand sanitizer available throughout the dojang, and you are welcome to bring your own. Also the fitness equipment in the back room is for fitness clients only. Once again we want to reassure you that we are disinfecting between classes and following the guidelines set out by the province in regards to recreational sports. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and look forward to continuing training with you.

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to give an update on the current class schedule in sackville. Were on summer hours right now, classes Monday to Thursday, there are no class td Friday or Saturday. Monday/Wednesday - 6:15pm-7pm (beginner children) 7:15pm-8:15pm (family class) Tuesday/Thursday - 6:15pm-7:15pm (family class) 7:30-8:30(advanced belts).

1st Class back in Halifax .. Happy to see so many faces WELCOME BACK

Hello to everyone. We will be open in both locations this Monday the 6th for classes. There are some new conditions we will be following to keep everyone safe. We can have as many as 50 people at our locations at any one time as long as social distancing rules are met. Groups of 10 can train, kick shields, spar and such together but not with anyone else in the class. During lineups we will have spots on the floors marked for social distancing to help with that procedure. Sani...tizing materials and supplies will be available and bathrooms will be cleaned properly between classes as well as door handles and such. I am going to allow parents to come into the school and watch as long as this does not become a problem. They must, in both locations, social distance at all times while in the school. If the conditions are not met than this will not be able to continue. All students should be early for classes to make entering and leaving the schools more efficient. Students will enter and leave the school one at a time while keeping social distance. Students must come and leave with their uniforms on as changing rooms at this time are off limits. All students that were active with up to date memberships before we closed will receive a 3 month extension on their memberships. The extensions start this month. Students should make an effort either to come to class or at least make contact with us in the month of July to receive your extension. Our club has had ongoing expenses during the downtime as you probably expect so any renewal of expired memberships is greatly appreciated. UPDATE: Hello to everyone, thank you for your ongoing patience. We are currently working on a proposal with the Nova Scotia government to reopen our schools. Everything thing is looking good so I expect it shouldn't be much longer before we are able to reopen. I will update when more information is available. Thank you, Master Hiltz

Hi everyone, Master Hiltz here. Just staying home trying to keep busy. I hope your all staying safe and I look forward to getting back into classes and normal life as soon as possible. This might take a while so practice your Taekwon-Do at home and stay safe!

Hello everyone, It's now been a week since we had to close our schools and it feels like a month already. It is however necessary to do our part to help control the spread of this illness. I want to make sure that all our students and friends understand our plan forward as we navigate this difficult time. All active memberships are on hold for whatever time we are closed. That means the time will be added to your memberships so you won't lose any money or time as long as your... membership is kept in good order. It is important that everyone is connected to our Hiltz Taekwon-Do facebook page for updates as emails may become affected by the current situation. Do not count on emails like this as the ability to send them throw our current system, "Perfect Mind" may change. Facebook is free. In closing for now I want everyone to feel assured that Hiltz Taekwon-Do is a well established and long running business that can weather this storm and will open back up as soon as we can.
