Drinking water out of copper vessels is an ancient Ayurvedic practice known as ‘tamara jal’. It has tremendous positive effect in cleansing water element of your physical body as well as there are even some deep esoteric and spiritual benefits. This water is suggested to be stored in copper vessel for at least 7 to 8 hours before drinking. Tamra jal balances all three doshas and is typically consumed by yogis first thing in the morning as part of their daily meditation pract...ice. Tamra jal has a host of health benefits including boosting immunity, conducting spiritual energy, and reducing inflammation in the body. During this storage time, the copper works its way into the water and allows it to be consumed by you. This allows you to gain all the positive benefits of copper in your drinking water. It is reported that the best part about this water is that it never becomes stale and can be stored this way for long periods of time. Cooper is an essential trace mineral that sustains life. It often acts as an antioxidant which reduces free radical damage in the body and promotes longevity. It is well researched that copper has a sterilizing effect and effectively kills bacteria. Another main function of copper is to assist the body’s absorption of iron making both minerals essential to the body. Copper is a conductor and has the ability to amplify your thoughts and increase your channel to the psychic realm. Copper helps in grounding. In energy medicine copper is used to align the subtle energy bodies and clear blocks in the path of spiritual development. Keeping the body healthy helps you access spirit. Happy Buddha Purnima to you all Its auspicious day today as its full moon day that indicates all three dates of the birth, enlightenment and mahanirvana of the Buddha. In Hinduism, Vaishak is the month in which the full moon is closest to the Nakshatra of Vaishak, a spiritual Nakshatra sacred to the conjoint forces of Indra and Agni, with connections to Sri Ganesha (Vishakha is the brother of Skanda), showing the vidyut shakti or lightning power of enlightenment. A day of c...ompassion and enlightenment for all. Chanting mantras, meditation and making sacred offerings to the Moon draws us to the peace and calm of one’s inner nature. Chanting OM can be very powerful during this time. OM in Tibetan Buddhism is the mantric vibration of the Void, Shunyata, which is the essence of the transcendent Buddha Mind. OM in Hinduism is the mantric vibration of the space of Brahman as Being- Consciousness-Bliss Absolute (Sacchidananda), and Atman as pure self-awareness. This is a blissful night of contemplative sadhana and mantra japa. We must allow the japa to flow as love and this flow of grace unfolds when we are compassionate with ourselves. Light a Divya or lamp to nurture the divine light within ourselves. Make offerings to the Moon of water with mantras These are powerful nights to consecrate the nurturing Shakti force in our homes and within use. Om Shanti, Shanti Shanti
