We've got a couple of beauty beef ribs set aside for dry aging! We're planning to cut into these bad boys on the first weekend of May, with delivery or pickup tentatively set for Friday May 7. By then these guys will have about 45 days of dry age on them, they should be incredible! Tomahawks at about 2-2.5" for $...24/lb, boneless ribeyes at any thickness for $28/lb, and 6-7 oz. burgers made from pure dry aged beef (with just salt and pepper in them) for $4.50 each, all available in very limited quantities. Scenes from Monday's pork share program. This pork is truly exceptional! It came from Tanjo Family Farm in Millbank, Ontario. It is a cross breed of Piétrain and Duroc pigs and is fed a GMO free diet of field peas, corn and barley all grown right there on the farm. They are raised without the use of antibiotics. This pork has a beautiful, distinctive pale pink colour with a nice fat coverage on the outside and abundant marbling throughout the meat. #meatshare #butcher #ontariopork #sausage

Hey everyone! We are putting together a pork share for a Monday very soon- looking at either March 29 or April 12 as the likely day. The pork we will be cutting is from Tanjo Family Farm in Millbank, Ontario. This pork is hormone and antibiotic free, and is fed a GMO free diet. Not only is it an exceptionally clean product, the flavour is absolutely outstanding! It has a nice coverage of fat, resulting in juicy, tender, and delicious meat. Those who order will receive a 20 lb.... box of mixed cuts for $160 which might look something like this: 4 lbs. chops 4 lbs. ground pork 4 lbs. fresh handmade sausages (gluten free) 8 lbs. mixed cuts (belly, shoulder roasts, side ribs, dry rubbed roasts for the smoker, etc.) Not every box is the same, we use this as a loose guideline and do our best to get a nice variety of dinner options into your order! Delivery is free in Barrie, between the hours of 5:30-8:00 pm on the day that we cut everything fresh for you. If you are from outside of Barrie we arrange pickup or delivery on an individual basis, just let us know where you're from and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
