We are pleased to share with you that Maneesh Media (www.maneeshmedia.com) has started a book on Indians in Canada titled "Jewels of India-Leading Indo-Canadian Personalities" which they plan to release in March 2021. The relationship between Indian and Canada goes back to more than a century. It was in early 1904 when the first Indian landed in Vancouver. Dear Community Members, It is with deep regret and great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Dr. Pallavi Pandit Nadkarni. She was an active and long standing member of our community.... We pray to the Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give the family strength and courage to bear their loss. Please see note below from her family & friends :- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- February 16, 1975 September 20, 2020, Kingston, ON We wish to inform you of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Pallavi Nadkarni at Kingston General Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Pallavi lived a fulfilling life as a daughter, wife, psychiatrist and friend. She is an associate Professor of Psychiatry at Queen’s University, Kingston. She enjoyed every moment of her life with a fierce independent soul. In keeping with her wishes, funeral services are private and for immediate family only. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ OM SHANTI !!
