Kale at its best! Once temperatures dip below 0 degrees, starches turn to sugar making each leaf sweeter and more tender. Kale and lots of other great fall vegetables like carrots, beets, cabbages, potatoes, turnip and kohl rabi will be available in our store FRIDAY, NOV. 20 and SATURDAY, NOV. 21 from 10am-4pm.
Our Farm Store will be open this Saturday from 10-4. Our delicious veggies, pastured chickens, homemade preserves and frozen soups are available and are all made/produced on site. We would also like to congratulate Fleetwood Hills Farm owner Stephen Moore on being awarded first place champion in the white liquid honey category at the 2020 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair this week. Fleetwood Hills honey is available at our farm store (liquid and creamed) in addition to Stephen Moore's maple syrup (amber and dark).
Rumor has it there's fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and the famous butter tart squares in the store today! Fresh veggies, pastured chickens, pickles, jams, hot sauce, honey and maple syrup also available. A beautiful day to stop by and stock your pantry/freezer or start Christmas shopping! Open until 5 today. After today, we'll be open reduced hours on select Fridays and Saturdays until Christmas. Watch social media for dates - or stop in if our road signs are out!
Get it while you can because this is the last full week our farm store will be open this season! But while the season is coming to a close the store is bursting with delicious selection! Lots of fresh veggies to make hearty fall meals, from potatoes and beets, to broccoli and cabbages. Stock your freezer with our frozen soups, pastured chickens or grass fed beef. Fill your pantry shelves with honey, maple syrup, pickles and jams. Choose a beautiful crochet hat or headband to keep yourself toasty warm! Open today through Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10-5. Side note - we will be open some Fridays/Saturdays between now and the end of 2020. Watch for dates!
Final CSA of 2020!
