Little spicy pepper kitten Chipotle is loving the heat pack from a donor and the cozy new bed from Pet Valu! These little babies were born to a feral mother in less then stellar condition, but they are doing as best as they can! They were rejected by their mother and now have a 24/7 guardian foster parent to care for them 100% of the time. Sometimes due to the mother’s not receiving the proper nutrition, along with stress and other factors can harm the kittens in Utero and in turn make them much more Susceptible to developing or harbouring URI and so many other infections. These babies are 3 weeks old today, and growing up a storm! We are still looking for donations of KMR, soft beds, blankets, kitten bottles, kitten nipples, and financial donations for their upcoming vet appointments!

Hello everyone and happy Saturday! We at HADSANS have some exciting news to announce to kick off 2021. First let’s start off with a quick review of 2020. Despite a pandemic we were busier than ever, and while we do not have an exact number of how many animals we actually helped, it was easily over 200. Pandemic and all, let’s just say we were busier than ever and we are sure we topped our previous record. The geographical area that we help expanded, and the number of farms w...e helped increased. We helped more families through our low income spay and neuter program. We worked with more rescues who share the same common goal as us. In doing so, this has all lead to us becoming bigger and better. 2021. This is all possible because of our followers and donors. Without you, we would not be able to help such a massive demographic of Alberta and insure so many animals are spayed and neutered. In 2021 we will begin working with The Dog Ranch/Boarding Dogs, who for years has done animal rescue by themselves from owner surrenders and helping animals in need. They get calls from farms and other rescues for help in that area and we feel that by joining together, we can make a huge difference in our community and theirs. What does that mean? It means we can start helping farms put an end to the breeding cycle of cats around Evansburg and Sangudo. It also means we are going to be featuring some adoptable dogs in the near future. We know many of you have asked us for dogs in the past and now we will have some available. With this excitng team up we will be able to widen our exposure in Yellowhead County and beyond, and continue to help as many people and animals as possible.

Today we are doing a transfer of 13 cats and kittens, as well as bringing 3 cats to be spayed and neutered through our Last Litter & Low Income programs! These programs are what help the community with overpopulation of cats and dogs! We will be trying to answer messages as soon as possible but we have volunteers on the road and for their safety we ask you please be patient for their responses after they are safely home tonight. If it is regarding a stray animal or an animal in distress please do not hesitate to call animal control at 780-865-6009. We will be answering all inquiries about adoption, low income and more tonight after our volunteers and cats are safely home!
