Another COVID birthday coming up folks and this time it's ours! As we look back on starting this little business at the beginning of the downturn a mere five years ago (what we now refer to as the "glory days"), we lived in aspiration that things would turn around "next year." We nurtured and grew this little seedling of an idea as the first VW photo booth in Canada (built by two women nonetheless), developing our clientele, team, offerings and units. And guess what? It worke...d. Always, we looked to innovate. Now, it's our biggest innovation challenge ever as we face the demise of what has been our traditional bread and butter--large events and gatherings. We took a breather, and looked the mirror (after a few tears. BTW, it's never advisable to look in the mirror when one's crying). And there it was, the answer, staring straight back at us. WE CAN keep serving our customers with what they have come to know us for - not just fabulous photos, but contagious energy and joy. And it's what we've been doing all along. Engaging our mobile VW photo booth, flipping the concept inside out (literally) and getting back on the road. There will be more coming about our adventures in business, and boy, have there been a lot. For now, we'd simply like to ask that you share our story with your friends. If anyone has a celebration coming up -- grad, wedding, birthday, hey, I made it to Friday!--we'd love to talk about how we can bring a bit of joy to the day, and maybe even make it to our next birthday. Celebrating mothers like no other! We got as much joy as we gave this Mother’s Day taking Buttercup -- and ourselves out -- to shake off the cobwebs. We sometimes forget how the simple act of driving this silly vehicle brings out smiles wherever we go. And even better to be able to deliver some gorgeous photos of these deserving moms.
