Cabbagetown, Toronto This neighbourhood, full of beautiful and unique architecture is an absolute pleasure to work on. It's well known many of these houses have been sandblasted in the past decades. Thankfully it looks like there is more and more preservation occurring. #masonryarches #conservation #restoration #preservation #conservation #periodhome #traditionalbuilding #heritagecarpentry #heritagemasonry #heritagewindows #fenestration #facaderestoration #artisan #ConservationConsortium

450 Pape Avenue - (1902) 100 years of foundation repairs, each time with the newest and greatest. Portland cement? Mortar in a caulking tube? We carefully removed all of this by hand with carbide chisels and replicating the original fine black mortar bead we found protected by the porch. #restoration #preservation #conservation #periodhome #traditionalbuilding #limeputty #heritagemasonry #sandstone #repointing #ConservationConsortium

The first bay window dry fit for our Queen Anne window package. Now that we know each of the 58 mortise and tenon joints in this sash line up tight and square its time to pull it apart for gluing and doweling. #absolutepremiumstandard #historiccarprentry #historicrestoration
