The Battle of Crysler's Farm
The first three photos are from a group called 'Normandy Napoleonic Reenactors' which says it is 'the only english regiment in france that accepts women as soldiers'. Not sure what 'English' means in this context. The fourth is from a German source who says this is the norm in his country. I do know that a number of the eastern European countries seem to have mainly female cavalry units.,
On 24 August 2019, reenactors and representatives of the Italian, German, Austrian and Hungarian Army commemorated in the Italian Dolomites at the Pordoi Pass for the battles that took place here between Italy and the Central Powers during the Great War. (Photos by Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy)
