Myth No 3: Hearing aids are like putting on glasses, they work perfectly right away. Fact: Treating hearing loss with hearing aids is very different from wearin...g glasses. Several fitting sessions with the hearing care professional may be needed to adjust the hearing aids correctly and to retrain the brain to interpret amplified sounds. This process takes time but helps the hearing aid user to get back to better hearing. See more

How loud is too loud? Listen to music with headphones rather than with earphones, as these have a better seal and therefore the volume doesnt need to be turned up so high. #bernafon
