Heartbeat Bikes - An Exciting New Ministry Happening at Heart Lake

We are excited to announce the start of a new ministry here at Heart Lake. Heartbeat Bikes is a partnership between Youth Unlimited and Heart Lake Baptist Church. It is an opportunity for youth to overcome barriers in employment and gain valuable life skills. Heartbeat Bikes will provide rebuilt, reliable freshly serviced bikes to people in our community. Bikes will be restored and repaired at various price points to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to purchase or re...pair their bicycle at our community shop. This will provide employment and on the job training for youth. We plan to host community events including mechanic training, community drop ins, and safety training. We are looking for volunteers and always accept donations of any bicycle related items i.e., complete bikes, parts, tools, accessories, and safety gear. We are planning to open late April and are accepting bike donations at the church. Donations drop off at Heart Lake Baptist Church Tuesday to Friday between 9 am and 1 pm.
