Happy Easter Weekend Everyone! I want to thank everyone that reached out to me this tax season. I only have 5 appointment spots left for April. I have never dreamed of being so busy and I Thank You from the bottom of my heart! I have had people reach out to me from all over New Brunswick. I am still able to do tax returns through the drop box outside and through email (DocuSign) between appointments so please still reach out. [email protected]
Another reason to file your personal taxes on time...Canadians expecting to owe personal taxes for 2020 may be eligible to defer payment INTEREST-FREE until April 30, 2022. Criteria: 1 $75,000 or less of taxable income in 2020 2 You received at least one COVID-benefit in 2020 (e.g. CERB, CESB, CRB, CRCB, CRSB, EI, other provincial benefits) ... 3 You filed your 2020 tax return IMPORTANT: You must file on time or CRA may still apply late filing penalties. Personal tax deadlines are April 30th or June 15th for self-employed individuals.
