In partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), HMCS BRANDON & HMCS SASKATOON recently seized drugs totaling nearly $44 million USD. USCG law-enforcement teams aboard our ships seized 1,120 kgs of cocaine and 100 lbs of marijuana during drug-interdiction operations in the eastern Pacific Ocean. One of the Royal Canadian Navy's annual traditions is to have a Christmas dinner, and HMCS HUNTER has long stood by that tradition, hosting dinner after conducting training on Saturday morning. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, HMCS HUNTER members were not able to celebrate the holiday physically together, this year. Public Service Announcement Remembrance Day Programming November 11, 2020 Windsor, Ont. HMCS HUNTER. ... While there will be a small, socially-distanced Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph downtown, we ask that if you are not a participant to respect the health and safety of the veterans who will be present by participating virtually. We ask that you continue to wear a poppy to honour all of those who have served and sacrificed for Canada. We ask that, if possible, you pause at 11:00 a.m. to take a moment of silence in respect for our veterans. And, if you are interested in viewing a Remembrance Day ceremony virtually, here is some information on how to do so: 1. The City of Windsor’s Remembrance Day ceremony can be found on cable TV or live-streamed on their Facebook page, at: https://www.facebook.com/CityofWindsor 2. HMCS HUNTER will share the City of Windsor live-stream to our Facebook page, so you can view here, as well. 3.
