November 27 - 4 plus inches of new fluffy fresh pow pow snow feels like 4 feet of fresh snow in this part of the world. Nice to run along the shoreline with a double sled this morning

November 24 ~ Our end of the lake froze on November 19. We’ve waited a few days before travelling on the lake with dogs and so far are just following the shoreline. It won’t be long and we will have miles to go. Wilson and Pobie lead the way back home.

Another lovely dog run today with my daughter. We are in our airstrip returning home after seeing many muskox tracks and wolf tracks. No animals spotted, other than our huskies but we know those wild are in the neighbourhood as we just travelled through that same area 24 hours ago. Here we are on our airstrip with our huskies in harness ( and Magneto looking back wondering why we stopped) and our Husky with its red wing covers and in the background Annika with her team and our Bush Hawk. Happy Hallowe'en!
