"DYSCONNECTED - Isolated by our mobile devices" An exhibition of pen and ink drawings by artist and neuropsychiatrist, Anton Scamvougeras, will be on show at the gallery from November 16 to December 15, 2017. This thought-provoking exhibition examines the ways in which our mobile devices impact our lives. The images are at times humorous and whimsical, in other instances satirical and profound. They encourage the viewer to consider the personal and societal effects of these ...devices. This will be the first time the original drawings are on view to the public. Some of the drawings are featured in the book "Dysconnected - Isolated by our mobile devices" which will be available for purchase at the exhibition. This limited edition 160 page book has been long-listed for the 2017 George Ryga Award and hailed by Allan Twigg of BC Bookworld as "Easily one of the best books of the year."
"Deconstruction and the Space Between" an exhibition by Julie Pongrac and Danielle Swift currently on at hfa contemporary till November 12.
