I'm spending today attempting to take photos of all the new goodies for the shop restock April 15th And because its so nice and sunny (Yay!), I'm having a hard time finding good lighting so you will actually be able to see what the colour and designs look like (Boo!) My usual set-up for photo taking has been with a backdrop of two large tiles salvaged from a building renovation and a piece of cardboard wrapped with tin foil as a makeshift light bounce (not glamourous, b...ut at least it's creative right?) I usually wait for a cloudy and bright day and set up a little area outside. I think it might be time I take my set up inside and find some better lighting options so I'm not dependent on the weather Do you have any recommendations or tips for a newbie to indoor photography? A new batch of travel tumblers are fresh out of the kiln and heading to the webshop this Thursday, April 15th @ 7pm PST! One of my favourite ways to spend a quiet spring morning is taking a walk around the neighbourhood with my partner. We like to make ourselves a warm drink in our to-go tumblers, take in the fresh air, and dream about all the things we hope to do and places we hope to see in the future. Currently, I've been dreaming about owning a sailboat and exploring the... coast around Vancouver Island. I think it would be so cool to see the island from a different perspective and see all the wildlife and natural spaces by boat. Do any of you sail?
