Wow! 110 years ago the Finnish Labour Temple (aka) the Finlandia Club open their doors. This is a significant and historical accomplishment to the Finnish commu...nity as well as an anchor of Thunder Bay with its location being in the heart of the multicultural and historical multi-ethnic Bay-Algoma Neighbourhood. The Finnish Labour Temple houses the Hoito Restaurant, an internationally acclaimed restaurant. The Hoito was established in 1918 which continues to serve traditional Finnish meals. See more

As a state of emergency issued by Doug Ford March 17th the Hoito will be closed after today due to mandatory shutdown by the government until March 31st or until further notice.
Unfortunately the Hoito will not be open Friday evenings until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers. Our hours of operation are Monday to Sunday 8am to 3pm.
