The results are in! Thanks to the restaurants, sponsors and good citizens of Saskatoon, we are proud and pleased to announce, the mother's Day Take out for Charity event was a resounding success. With a total of $15,960 dollars raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Care & Share as well as over One Thousand meals provided to Friendship Inn, Crisis Nursery and Sanctum Care Group. Last Chance to lend your support to the dozens of homes and families we want to provide meals for tomorrow on Mother’s Day! 100% of the proceeds will go to participating restaurants to buy meals for families involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Sanctum Care Group and Crisis Nursery. Send us a message indicating your pledge so we can reach our goal of $5,000!

This Sunday for Mother’s Day, Local 4 Local is pleased to increase they ways people of Saskatoon and beyond can give back to the local community. First, we thank our generous sponsors for their in-kind and cash donations. Second, we thank the restaurants for agreeing to contribute both cash donations to participating charities and in-kind donations of prepared meals to The Friendship Inn.... Third, by purchasing a box of chocolate or bouquet of flower added on to take out orders at participating restaurants, proceeds go towards a local business (Those Girls at the Market) and charities. Finally, we present an opportunity for individuals to donate $10, $20, $50 or $100 towards purchasing a meal for families in need this Mother’s Day. Your contribution will purchase meals for little siblings and their families who participate in Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the families, children and staff at Sanctum Care Group, or families seeking the safe haven provided by Crisis Nursery.
