At this time we dont have any more private treaty animals for sale but keep an eye out for our bulls we’ve consigned to the Grasslands Angus Bull Sale which will be held on April 2nd, pictures will be coming as soon as this weather straightens out! Its been awhile since we posted anything, so first of all i should start with yes, we are still alive - the Covid has not claimed us! We have a very strong set of coming two year old bulls for sale again. These are April/May born bulls and they have not been picked through, this is the entire Late Purebred calving group. The sale pen includes 2 virgin cow bulls and 1 virgin hfr bull, as well as 3 cow bulls (that we ourselves used last year) and 1 hfr bull that was used as ...well. The bulls that bred last summer will be Trich Tested. A very strong set of bulls that have been raised up and grown out the right way! They were turned out on grass May 1st and pulled off grass October 15th. Priced at $4500 if picked up right away or $5000 wintered and delivered mid-late April. A very smooth made, perfect footed Warrior son out of a beautiful Predominant mother, this bull is as long as a Saskatchewan winter and was a pen favorite! Our two year old bulls are not left overs from the year before or bulls that didn’t make the sale, they are specifically left over to become twos and fed free choice hay and rolled oats to ensure foot quality and longevity. Day By Day Warrior 313D Warrior was selected from the 2017 Short Grass Bull Sale from some good friends Stan and Sherry Day of Day by Day Angus. His sire Walkerbrae Warrior 116Z was a tremendous sire for Sandy Bar and was the top selling bull in their mature cow herd dispersal. The Warrior 116Z progeny always rose to the top of the Sandy Bar calf crop in our eyes and we decided we needed a son for ourselves. Warrior has been our go to sire in the cow pasture for the last 3 ye...ars, he hasn’t disapointed. He’s a big muscluar sire with added length and a big top. 313D progeny are solid made, stretchy animals with good hair and performance to burn. His first daughters are milking right now and they are impressive. Beautiful udders with perfect square teats, nice little feminine heads and perfect temperments. This will be the second crop of bulls headed to the Grasslands Bull Sale and they are equally as impressive as last years set who were very well liked.
