Good News YBC family! We have been given the go ahead to restart our league. We will be resuming our league on Saturday April 10th. We will be still doing two sets the same as before the shut down 9AM and 11AM . Any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

Shared post from Center Bowl To all of our League bowlers and YBC bowlers, Bowl NL has A request sent in to the government of Newfoundland and Labrador to be able to proceed with bowling for all of our leagues in all alleys across the island. As soon as we get that approval we can proceed with leagues and YBC. Therefore no bowling until we get approval from Government. Hopefully have that approval by next week. Stay tune for updates and stay safe!

Given the speed at which things are changing daily with the newest outbreak of Covid-19. Please see notes below from today's briefing. We will continue to update our page as we have information. We apologize for our delay in putting this out there but we want to ensure we provide the correct information. We hope you all are continuing to follow guidelines and are staying safe.

YBC BOWLING IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMNT!!!! Effective Saturday October 3rd we will be switching to 2 sessions. PEE-WEE & BANTAM will be bowling at 9:00 AM... JUNIOR & SENIOR will be bowling at 11:00 AM. Based on discussions after last weeks first session it was determined to be a little too congested so we made the decision to ensure better social distancing to go with 2 separate sessions. Thank you from your YBC program director and volunteers

YBC bowling will start this Saturday September 26th at 10AM. Ongoing registration will continue on this date as well for returning and new bowlers. With the cu...rrent number of registered bowlers, we will try one session. This will be closely monitored to ensure we best follow Covid guidelines and the change to 2 sessions may be made at any time. We also ask that you try to limit spectators to the bare minimum, keeping physical distancing in mind.

Banquet and Registration!!!! Hi again everyone. Sorry for the delayed notice. I hope everyone had a good Summer given the circumstances we had to deal with. With the ever-changing guidelines, not just for bowling, but nearly everything in our daily lives, it has taken a while to put things together to complete the 2019-2020 YBC Season and at the same time, get ready for the upcoming 2020-2021 Season. YBC NL is hosting the annual AGM in Gander today (Sept 12th), which I am ...sure will provide more information on how this year will move progress. We will provide required information as we learn more. In any case, we will be moving forward on SEPTEMBER 19 with our Awards Presentation for 2019-2020 and to save time, we will be having our registration for the upcoming season on the same day. We will be doing this in two different sessions. For last year’s Peewees and Bantams, ages 3-10 as of December 2019, we will start the awards at 10AM, followed by registration for this year. For the Juniors and Seniors, ages 11-19 as of December 2019, we will begin the awards at 12 Noon, followed by registration. However, if a family has a bowlers from both sessions, we have the flexibility that you can choose to come to either session. We are using this process to avoid further delays in the season and hopefully it will be for this year only. We ask that you be there on time so we can begin the Awards Presentation and complete the registration in the time allotted. We have to sanitize the lanes between sessions and hope to keep everything moving smoothly. We have also been asked that you wear a mask while moving into and around the lanes, but you may take it off while sitting in your seat. Unfortunately, we are not able to bring food into the lanes, but we can purchase snack foods from the canteen. We plan to provide the children a drink and to have coupons or gift cards for the bowlers that they can pick something up at their convenience. In order to adhere to capacity guidelines at the lanes, we also ask that you limit guests to two (2) people accompanying the bowlers. Sanitizing stations are visible around the lanes should you want to use them. And of course, we will be using physical distancing as much as possible. Post from NL YBC Hope you all enjoyed your summer! YBC meetings will be Saturday, September 12th in Gander. I know registrations will soon be starting. It has been a different year with COVID-19 but we will be trying to keep a sense of normalcy for all our bowlers while keeping the best interests and safety in mind for everyone! Be great to see you all back again this year as we try to get back to some kind of normal bowling life! Stay safe and don’t forget you have to wear your Masks when you go in to alleys, go to washrooms, counters, etc. but not while bowling. Looking forward to seeing all our bowling family again!
