Invest In Yourself It's not easy to transcend a past life of pain, but we can choose to allow light to come into our shadow places. Living through trauma when we are young, can cause us to live in our imaginations, and to create other worlds to travel to. Trauma can set up patterns of self destruction, addictions and self hatred that can stay with us a lifetime. We begin to lead an unconscious life, going through the motions of old patterns, unaware of what addictive and tox...ic patterns are doing to us. Needing a place to rage and someone to blame, we can find ourselves furious with the opposite gender, not realizing, they are going through their own ordeals. We keep looking for examples of "bad men or women" so that we are blind to the healthy ones out there. Self hatred can be projected into the world as we play the part of victim. Invest in yourself: Surround yourself people with who have mastered self love Take time to heal Allow yourself to re-form who you are Realize you will always have positive and negative emotions, it's natural Put the spotlight and focus on the positive ones Do things that make you happy!
