We had the BEST time capturing the love between Alanna & Chris last week It was a moody west coast morning with a slight wind. The air was cool but the rain held off and we were all so grateful. Alanna kept saying this is the perfect weather and we couldn’t agree more! Best friends. They make our worlds SO MUCH BETTER. The endless laughter, the person we want to call with the best and worst news, the biggest hugs and most of all the unconditional love they give us. Faith and Caitlyn are two best friends that have been through so much together. Caitlyn just moved over seas to teach in London, so before she left they booked this session with us. For many people this is a welcome after summertime, but for others ( like myself, Bayley here) it's actually really quite hard on our brains and hearts. Meet John & Hannah These two lovebirds met in high school and just celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary! Their love for one another is infectious. John is the biggest Star Wars fan you’ll ever meet ( we promise this!) and Hannah has the most joyful laugh you’ll ever hear. Adventure Sessions. What the heck are they? Why should you consider booking one? We used to call them Trash the Dress Sessions but we found that scared a lot of people away. PSA - we aren’t ACTUALLY gonna trash your dress....unless you wanna We are here to give you 4 reasons why you should book an Adventure Session with us:... 1. You get to wear your dress again!! Who doesn’t want an excuse to get all dolled up in your wedding gear for a second time?! You probably paid a pretty penny for that dress, but even if you didn’t, get some wear out of it girl!! 2. Timelines. Sometimes your wedding day doesn’t allow time for those epic locations or epic shots, so instead of stressing about trying to fit it all in, pick a day after your wedding and we can head out STRESS FREE, no deadlines, no reception halls of guests waiting for you! 3. Location! Wanna climb a mountain or take a helicopter somewhere (yes please!) but still wanna have a traditional wedding? With an adventure session we can hit up those epic locations! 4. Been married for a while? We are crazy horse girls. Should we say it louder for the people in the back? WE ARE CRAZY HORSE GIRLS!! And for all you other crazy horse girls out there, you know that when you book a session with your horse that it is just as important for your photographer to capture your horses best side just as much as they need to capture your best side. We all also know that this is easier said than done, but we are here to tell you why you should book your next equine session with u...s! 1. We both own our own horses! This means we are comfortable handling them. Wearing a prom dress that would make Cinderella jealous but it makes leading your horse a bit difficult? Don’t worry girl, we gotchu! 2. We both own our own horses! Yes we are saying this again! They have good sides and bad sides just like us humans do and we get that! So don’t worry about how your horse is standing or, we have you (and your horse) covered! 3. There are two of us! This is so helpful when it comes to horses. A lot of the time one of us will shoot and the other person will do whatever it takes to get your horses ears forward. And when we say whatever it takes, we mean it! From shaking grain buckets, to jumping in the air and playing noises on our phones, we will make sure your horse is looking their best! See more

Hey With Love family, A co worker of Bayley’s rescued this sweet angel of a dog! We are offering a mini session**bidding contest for this sweet angel! 100% of the proceeds go to her medical needs! We are starting the bidding today and will end it Monday August 31st at 9pm! Bids start at $200 and must increase by $1!... This is her story! (the story is now updated to the vet recommending physio instead of surgery and will cost around the same amount!) if you have bottles Angela is still accepting and Nova is so grateful! As lots of you know I have been fostering a dog since February. She’s literally the most gentle, amazing, kind hearted, funny dog I’ve ever met. She is 60 lbs of pure joy!! She is best friends with Sasha, and Daisy does a pretty good job of tolerating her lol. After I had her in my care I noticed she had a limp to her front leg. She has gained over 10 lbs since she came to stay with us so I wasn’t sure if it was joint strain or what. It progressively got worse to the point where some days she can’t weight bear on that leg. After taking her to the vet it turned out she has an old fracture to her front leg that never healed properly or was treated. The vet stated there are bone shards floating around in the joint causing her a lot of pain. Like all dogs she’s stoic, happy and doesn’t let it get her down but she can’t really do much exercise at this point without suffering afterwards. She’s currently on pain meds to help but the surgery requires a trip to Victoria to an arthroscopic vet and a cost of about $3000-4000. She also hasn’t been spayed and because she’s a middle aged larger gal that will cost $1000. The kids and I are collecting bottles in the hopes of off-setting the cost of her surgery. We can’t imagine her living a life where she doesn’t get to hike, run and swim!!! If anyone has bottles kicking around that you don’t want we would LOVE to have them!! We will pick them up and take it from there. I will be in Hardy this weekend so if any Hardy people have bottles I’m happy to take them!!! Here are a few photos of this beautiful girl, as well as her recent X-ray photo. The vet told me that it feels like there is sand in the joint when she feels it ** (8 photos in a online gallery, location in Nanaimo, max 5 people, no newborn sessions, must be used by December 1st,2020)
