Debra Sloan was the artist in residence at MOA before me. Her work in the Playing with Fire exhibition was integrated into the Koerner ceramics collection, which she studied while she was there. Carol Mayer has made this short video about her work here.

Carol Mayer, head curator at MOA and specialist in ceramics, was the person to whom I was responsible in my residency. She gives an 8 minute tour of a unique Canadian ceramics exhibition now closed and finished, due to the closure of the museum with COVID-19. Her idea was to help change people's attitudes toward the medium of clay, to see it as a medium of contemporary art.
