Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) and Golfers Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis) as well as tendinitis or tendinopathy often occurs with overuse of your forearm muscles. Tendon injury and inflammation causes forearm pain near your elbow or wrist joints, where the tendon attaches to the bone. These conditions may also cause swelling, decreased movement and weakness.

Lower Back Pain - 7 Essential Moves for Pain Relief & Strengthening Muscles Overview Lower back pain is a fairly common health issue, partly because so many things can cause it.... In some cases, it might be a symptom of an underlying condition, such as kidney stones or fibromayalgia. Other times, it’s simply a side effect of a sedentary lifestyle or reptitive motions. Regardless of what’s causing your lower back pain, these seven moves can help to reduce the pain and strengthen the muscles in your lower back. First, a few quick tips It’s important that you stretch your lower back with safety and care. Be especially gentle and cautious if you have any type of injury or health concern. You can do these stretches once or twice a day. But if the pain seems to get worse, or you’re feeling very sore, take a day off from stretching. As you go through these stretches, take your time and play close attention to your breathing. Use your breath as a guide to make sure you don’t strain or overdo it. You should be able to breathe comfortably and smoothly throughout each pose or stretch. And remember to only stretch your muscles after your muscles are warm. Stretching your muscles before strenuous activity, such as running or lifting weights, can increase your chance of creating a muscle tear.

Stress Management- Chronic stress puts your health at risk and can wreak havoc on your physical body. Take steps to control your stress. Breathing Fundamentals When you take a deep breath in, your heart rate quickens slightly. As you exhale, your heart rate slows. Repeated deep breaths will naturally bring your heart rate more in sync with your breath. This leads your brain to release endorphins, which are chemicals that have a natural calming effect. But if you’re stuck sha...llow breathing, that endorphin release doesn’t happen. This calming effect can be so significant that there’s research linking to a reduction in stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms; as well as improved sleep and focus. And it all comes back to the breath. But that’s not all that happens. The brain is so oxygen dependent, using 20% of the body’s oxygen supply. And just like any other body part, if it doesn’t get what it needs, symptoms can manifest. So, a deficit in oxygen could cause you to feel foggy, unfocused, or on edge.
