Unilateral rows: Variation 1: body weight - Single arm body row w/rotation (Open Concept). Increases back strength, eliminates strength imbalances and increases core strength. Variation 2: body weight - single arm anti-rotation body row (Closed Concept). Resist your torso from externally rotating at the bottom. This will bring a lot of confusion to your body allowing your core muscle to tighten to prevent the torso from rotatingespecially the lower back. ... - Variation 1: Single arm body row w/KB. Adding resistance develops a lot more strength with the inside pulling arm well as the outside pushing arm which is going to add a crazy amount core strength and stability to entire movement. Variation 2: Single arm Anti-rotation body row w/KB - By resisting the simultaneous pull and push, your core automatically fires to prevent your torso from twisting. Challenging you core stabilizers to maintain posture. This is critical for increasing power, preventing energy leaks and protecting the spine. Coaching tips: - Measure the suspension to your hip height. - Beginners set up at 60 degrees 2 steps out from the bar or rack. - Advance level set up 90 degrees table top position(directly underneath the bar) - At the bottom phase of rotating exercises, place hand to chest and find the floor with elbow.
