Join us this Sunday for worship at 10:30am! Our Sunday service is online and you can participate from home by connecting on ZOOM (message for link). You can also participate at our physically distanced church living room (sort of like joining the zoom call from home, but with a few others). If you plan to join in-person, you will need to register via Eventbrite and bring a mask. This week we kick off a short series of sermon on the book of Acts that will help us remember who we are as the church: a people united in the apostle’s teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Keep at our Mark reading challenge! We’re well on our way to our communal goal of 300 readings together. If you’re finding it difficult to stick with it, maybe some visuals would help.... Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 17) is Ash Wednesday marking the beginning of Lent and the countdown to Easter. This a season of holy preparation, as we remember that life is frail and the days we have are all in deep need of God’s help and salvation. The practices of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving are the pillars of our approach to Christ’s passion - they ready our hearts to meet with Jesus, and are part of our share in the work of God’s transformation of us. And continue with us in Mark’s Gospel as we journey with Jesus through Lent.
