NEW HOMILY SERIES! In our heart of hearts, we all want to be generous to be people who are givers. This is because we bear the image of God and God is a giver. All of this world is gift. And God gave his most precious gift at Christmas when he sent his Son into the world. God loves and so God gave his son. This is why at the Christmas season we give as well. Giving and generosity go together. To be generous means to hold our lives and all we have with an open hand. In this series we will look at how Christmas invites us into a life of generosity and offer some ways to give into this temptation. To join our Monday small group homily sessions, sign up on our website: www.holycrossng.com

The month of the Holy Rosary is almost over and Tuesday, October 27 will be the last evening for the Scriptural Rosary. If you have never been to a Scriptural Rosary this is your chance! It is a beautiful Rosary with the incorporation of scripture to help us reflect on Jesus' life. This week we are focusing on the Glorious Mysteries. There are extra booklets at Holy Cross for anyone who wants to join us. If you need prayers answered, come and pray with us and write your prayers down so you can place them in the prayer box at the Altar. It starts at 7pm for 1 hour.
