Good morning! I hope that all is well and that you and your families are safe, happy, and healthy. Although it is very early in the 2021 school year, I am writing to inform homeschooling parents about the registration process for the fall should you wish to send your child/children back to Holy Family School. In essence, parents who are currently homeschooling will need to re-register their child/children using the NCDSB on-line registration process for the 2021-2022 school ...year. The process is very simple, and once complete the school will contact you directly to confirm grade placement. If you have any questions or concerns about online registration, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 705-544-2397. The first annual Snowlympics and Winter Walk Day are complete! Staff and students participated in outdoor events that included walking in the community, the hockey shot, the ball pass, the bobsled race, the pylon relay, and the snow relay. Thanks to Ocean, Hailey, Rhys, Austin, Brett and Trevor for all of the planning and organizing of the events. There was even a tug-o-war between the Grade 7s with Mr. Crosier and the Grade 8 students. The Grade 7s won! Lastly, the winner of the coveted Golden Shoe Award for the best school cheer went to the JK/SK class! Go Knights Go!

Good morning and Happy Friday! Thank you for your ongoing support to keep our students safe and healthy. We truly appreciate the fact that students in all of our classes from Grades 1 through to 8 are wearing masks. As a suggestion, however, we recommend that students have two masks in case one is soiled or breaks. Also, as per the recommendations of the public health nurse at the Timiskaming Health Unit, buffs and scarves will no longer be considered masks at school. As ...such, the expectation is that students will wear appropriate masks as of Monday, January 18th, 2021. Please note: masks will be worn at all times throughout the day, with the exception of snack time and lunch time. Once again, thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy!
