The latest in our Parish of the Valley #WayBackWednesday church history series.
Together with other Canadians we mourn the recent passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. A national commemorative ceremony will be held this Saturday at Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa and will be broadcast on CBC Television. The Prince's portrait has been veiled in our church hall and the flag in our churchyard will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral.
A special Easter performance from Ainsleigh and Molly MacInnis, with heartfelt thanks to our friends at PPT (Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle) for sharing! Alleluia! Happy Easter everyone!

Many members of Holy Trinity have already received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Today it was Rev. Matthew’s turn. If you can, please register to be vaccinated as soon as you’re eligible. The more we can protect each other from COVID-19 the safer our entire community will be.

A great way to support families in need in our local community. Thank you Kiwanis Club of Pembroke!
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38-39. Rest in peace, dear brother in Christ.
Holy Trinity’s poppy cross was placed with care today at the Pembroke Cenotaph. Lest we forget.
Please support Holy Trinity through the Valley Advent Appeal. #GivingTuesday
Led by our Holy Trinity Sunday School the Parish of the Valley is pleased to once again be holding a Halloween Pumpkin auction in support of the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund. Due to COVID-19 this year's auction is taking place virtually. To place your bid simply type it as a comment under the photograph in question, or email your bid to Maggie Jacques, Holy Trinity Pembroke Sunday School Coordinator, at [email protected] (be sure to include the name and number... of the pumpkin you're bidding on when emailing). The starting bid for each pumpkin is $10. Bidding will close at 12pm on Friday October 30th. Successful bidders within the Parish of the Valley can arrange with Maggie to have their pumpkin delivered to their home. Bidders from beyond the Parish of the Valley are most welcome. We can't guarantee the delivery of your pumpkin, but successful bidders will receive a thank you card from our Sunday School with our heartfelt appreciation for your support of PWRDF! Successful bidders and anyone wishing to support the work of PWRDF can submit their donation to Maggie or by visiting the Holy Trinity Pembroke Canada Helps page -- be sure to select "The PWRDF Pumpkin Auction" as the designated fund: https://www.canadahelps.org//charities/holytrinitypembroke/ Happy Halloween from all of us in the Parish of the Valley!

Pumpkin Carvers take note!! Sharpen your weapons of creativity! Holy Trinity will again be having our Pumpkin Auction in support of the Primate's World Relief a...nd Development Fund (PWRDF). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be doing things a little differently. For families or individual artists wishing to participate, please contact Maggie Jacques 613-687-8189 or [email protected] and we will drop off a pumpkin for you to carve. Once we have a total of the number of pumpkins and carvers wishing to participate, we will contact you with further instructions. This is not the same as previous pumpkin PWRDF fundraisers, but nothing is the same in today's COVID-19 time. The PWRDF still has many needs so let us join together in fun, fellowship and pumpkin goop! See more
