Planted the last 30 cloves of garlic this morning, making thus: 15 Chesnok Red, 15 Persian Star, 30 Tibetan, 50 Susan Delafield (my fav!!), 35 Majestic, 23 Yug...oslavian(Hot!), 9 Fish Lake #3, 24 Music, 19 Korean, 21 Purple Stripe. WHAT!! No Russian Red? In fact, Russian Red is a poor keeper, wanting to be planted after about 3 months. Most of these varieties I've planted will keep a good 6 to 9 months in the proper conditions... Gotta Love . See more
