Motivational Monday Motivating and educating us towards a more active and healthy healthy lifestyle. Gardencise and Yardwork is a new fitness trend ! Who would have thought that poking around in the dirt, weeding, trimming, and cutting grass is good for our health !... Digging , lifting , bending , squatting, planting ,loading bags of soil into your car, Laying out new mulch, walking the isles of plant stores , and maintaining our yards is a great way to get daily doses of Vitamin M. The Movement training can begin ! It's a perfect time to prepare all the garden tools, purchase what we can ahead of time and plan your summer yard strategy. It takes months of training to run a successful Marathon . Gardencise is no different , We start you Garden and yard training now . And if you don't have a yard or garden there are tons of older folks in our neighbourhoods who need help. They will be very grateful and we get more vitamin M.. a Win- Win Enjoy the new exercising trend of Gardencise and yard work

Happy Motivational Monday to you all. Every Monday morning I will be posting a Motivational Message to help us all( including me)to have an amazing week of exercise, fitness and physical movement. First I will share a conversation I had with one of clients recently . He is on a mission to lose weight, improve his health and lifestyle so he can continue to work a few more years before he retires. He commented how impressed he was that I always have lots of motivation to exer...cise and he wishes he had that motivation. I told him that I am not motivated to exercise and in most cases don't really like exercising. ( I mean who in their right mind gets up at 4.30am like me to endure physical discomfort and mental testing to exercise ) but I do like and enjoy the many benefits of being in shape and very healthy ,so I try to keep to a routine of weekly exercising . and I told him that I know if I always try to exercise in the am part of the day because after 7pm , I tend to suffer from lazy-bonitis . My client said so you exercise to get the benefits.. Yup. So I hope this helps motivates us all to achieve some results we like.. Have a great week of exercise no matter what you do See more
