Today 23/02/2018 Mr Ruparelia, in Uganda we call the father of Homeopathy has passed away and may his soul rest in eternal life. He is the first person to open up a Homeopathic clinic in Kampala offering free medication. He conducted many mobile clinics to eastern uganda and will be remembered by the people of Iganga. By time of his death he was advocating the recognition of Homeopathy in Uganda. Ruparelia we shall miss you

Ugandan Government is currently engaging in consultations to amend the National Drug Authority act to substitute it with national drug and food authority act. As the Homeopathic society of Uganda, we have submitted our proposal to that draft team of national drug and food authority bill 2017 so that homeopathy get a specific schedule to cater for it

A three member committee was set up to study the indigenous and complimentary medicine bill 2015 finalized its work and very soon it report will be tabled to the society general meeting for discussion and at the end of the day we shall have a common voice as Homeopathic society of Uganda, of which we shall present to Ugandan Parliament at an appropriate time
