March 15th, 2018 42-year-old patient-external hemorrhoids visit my clinic. He reported a feeling of a pea-shaped spot, in his rectum. He said it started three weeks ago when he began experiencing pain and some itch around his anal area. His initials took pain killers to help with the pain. He stopped all inflammatory foods, caffeine and alcohol. He took some ointment that was over the counter at the local pharmacy to help with the itch. Even though this was helping him day to... day, he wanted a permanent solution. I asked him about the modalities. He told me that the pain was worse after sitting for a while. As his job requires sitting, he had to take days off due to pain. He had to avoid anything that pressed directly on the spot, as it would increase the pain. He had no sign of blood in either stool or urine. He felt better after a warm shower. Generally, he was extremely sensitive to odours and especially to perfumes. Lastly, he mentioned that the pain worsened after he did heavy lifting around the home. Prescribed: Sepia 30c 3 pellets 1X/day March 30th, 2018 All pain resolved since starting Sepia 30, but the itch has increased. I explained that means hemorrhoid has shrunk in size. To his surprise, he said I was right, and the doctor who checked him two days ago said the same. Continue remedy May 21st, 2018 Called to let me know that he was the last test a week ago and had no symptoms of itch, or sign or hemorrhoids. TMJ (Acute) April 15th, 2018: A 26-year-old male with TMJ since the past 13 months visited my Clinic. He was experiencing severe jaw pain for almost one month, causing throbbing headaches. Before visiting our Clinic, the patient had tried my conventional and natural treatments. This was his first attempt with Homeopathy. I have ...prescribed: Spigelia 30ch 3 Pellets time per day. The patient called in the evening, and he said that after taking the first dose, the pain went away completely. Instructed the patient to use the Spigelia 30ch as needed. Eczema Treated Successfully 22nd July 2019 A child of age 8 old was brought to me with severe eczema. The Eczema started in May 2019 after parents introduced Goat milk and a new detergent. Even after stopping the goat milk and using an organic and fragrance-free detergent the skin was not improving. Doctors advised Cortisone cream. Initially, it helped but the child experienced side effects. After examining the child, it was noted that the locations of the eczema were face, c...hest, hands and back. All skin area was red, dry, inflamed and itchy. The skin below the eye was not smooth to touch and inside the ear a bit dryness. The father informed me that his son will scratch until it bleeds and that every time, he ate any form of sugar it made eczema worse. Also, it was noted that the patient had a history of catching colds easily and getting ear infections. The patient had a fear of needles like to do things by the rules, blunt in nature, stubborn and argumentative. I prescribed the Remedy Silicea 6X daily 3times/day. August 19th, 2019 The case is progressing, the skin is less red, less dry and less itchy but the progress slowed down. So, I prescribed Silicea 30ch daily, 2X/day. Oct 20th, 2019 The skin was 60% better in all aspects and progress slowed, so as nothing else changed in the case, the potency went up. So, I prescribed Silicea 200ch X1/day. Jan 8th, 2020 Skin is 99% improved and the father was instructed to continue the remedy and report back if needed. In homeopathy, treatment is individualized to a patient based on health history, location, sensation and modalities that are unique to the individual. June 15th, 2019 A 9-year-old male was brought in for homeopathic treatment. He was diagnosed with Bipolar and ADHD. Things were all good with Ability for the past year, but it wasn’t helping anymore, and they weren’t successful with anything to help ADHD. Around 2 years of age, they knew something was not right as he had severe tantrums. These temper tantrums were random, and he would be unreachable. He would be very aggressive and even hurt himself in the process of getting ...out of the child seat. When he was 2.5 years old, he cut his brother with a knife. Even after being on Abilify he would still hurt his brother. He engaged in risky and reckless behaviour. Jumping from high spots and then laughing. At present he is violent. He will hurt someone, laugh about it and then run away. Just recently he was stomping on his brother while he was lying on the floor. He hits and spits at kids at school. No really sympathy after apologizing. After the episode, he doesn’t always recall the incident. He had very vivid dreams and would scream and hit while dreaming. He is very intelligent, but due to ADHD he rushes and makes a lot of mistakes. He shows love to people instantly and gets over-attached. He gets annoyed by certain clothes and he doesn’t like the seat belt. He grinds his teeth in his sleep. Prescribed: Belladonna 30c 2 pellets 1X/day July 22nd, 2019 After a few days of aggravation, he started to calm down. He was less violent and not laughing without reason. Continue remedy Sept 21st, 2019 Hyperactivity and restlessness improved a lot. No more spitting or hitting. One 1 occasion with brother. Now he stomps in anger but does not hit. Continue remedy Dec 13th, 2019 No violence or tantrums of any sort. Well behaved, in school and home. Localized redness, swelling, heat and pain is something we are all aware of as inflammation, and however, if this lingers, it can be harmful to our health. What we eat too has a direct impact on inflammation and how it is managed. If you wish to keep this in check, it is vital that you eat the right food. Below is a list of foods that you should avoid and foods that you should eat. Avoid these foods Foods that are causing inflammation in your body include fats that are satura...ted from animals that are poorly fed, trans fat from shortening, margarine and hydrogenated oils. Avoid fats that are high in omega 6 and low in omega 3 fatty acids. Sugar is a significant cause of inflammation, too, and so are other kinds of refined foods. Foods that you should eat Cruciferous Vegetables Cruciferous vegetables are known to have potent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects, and this includes vegetables like broccoli, kale and cabbage. Omega 3s Omega 3’s are essential to reduce inflammation in the body, and they also help reduce the onset of other risks that may be caused due to inflammation. Foods that are rich in Omega 3s include walnuts, kidney beans, navy beans and cold-water fish that include: mackerel, herring, black cod, anchovies and sardines. Sardines Highly rich in omega 3, it is the best source to keep inflammation in check. This fish is not only rich in omega 3s but is an excellent source for Vitamin B12, EPA and DHA as well, all of which help in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, one of the top inflammatory diseases. Herbs and Spices Turmeric, when added to your food, offers a host of benefits, including lowering inflammation. Curcumin found in turmeric is the reason for this. Ginger From the same family as that of turmeric, it is an excellent addition to your diet, if you are truly serious about reducing inflammation and leading a healthy life. Avoid seconds A great way to curb that urge for a second helping is by practicing to put aside a portion of your dinner for lunch the next day. Flavours And Sweeteners: You will find a host of powders out there, there are mainly three types, as follows according to flavours and sweeteners used: a) Powders that are entirely artificial or those that are a combination of natural and artificial sweeteners and flavours b) Powders that are made using only natural sweeteners c) Powders that are made without any added flavouring or sweeteners Ideally, you should choose powders that have been made without any artificial flavour, or you should decide to use powders that do not use sweeteners or flavouring at all for the most significant benefit. What else is there? Besides the essential protein, flavours and sweeteners, manufacture tends to use a host of other ingredients to enhance the flavours of the powder. The number of plastic being sold today are just countless. Research suggests that around 2 million bottles may be being bought every 5 minutes, all over the world. More than 6 million plastic cups are being used on airlines in the United States alone. This means that plastic is the most consumed product in the world as of today. What we must know is that this high consumption can have ill effects on our health. Plastic seems to be killing people slowly, and we do not even kno...w it. It is known that bottled water is better than tap waterwhy? Well, it has vitamins. When you do go ahead and buy plastic, make sure that you look for a symbol at the bottom of the bottle first. What are these symbols, and what do they mean? If you look below the bottle, you will find a triangle, which has a number ranging from 1 to 7. These numbers show whether the products are safe for use or not. #1: Number 1, is known for PET or PETE. This means that the bottle can be used only once and should not be reused. It suggests that if reused, it could emit a heavy metal called antimony into your body, which could interfere with the hormones in one's body and be carcinogenic. #2: The number 2 stands for HDPE or HDP, which means that suitable plastic has been used to create the product and does not have too much emission as compared to other chemicals when they come in contact with water. #3: V or PVC plastic bottles will have the number 3. This is commonly used for plastic bottles all over the world. It is, however, known to have 2 toxic chemicals that can interfere with the hormones in one's body. #4: This number stands for LDPE and is a suitable plastic and is used most commonly for plastic bags and water bottles. These do not emit any chemicals when they come in contact with water. #5: These bottles are usually white, but can also be transparent. These are safe to use. They are also known as PP. These are commonly used in the production of yogurt or syrup bottles. #6: This plastic is used for fast food packaging and coffee. It is known to make emissions that may be carcinogenic, but it is still used. #7: This is known as PC plastic. These should be avoided as they emit BPA, which is a very harmful chemical. Unfortunately, these are used in various food and beverage industries. Be careful when you buy plastic food products. Make sure you check the number at every step. Coldwater has a host of benefits, and it helps energize your system and gives it the strength you need to lead a healthy life. Coldwater helps improve lymphatic circulation The lymphatic system is a network of vessels that run throughout your body. The lymphatic system helps takes away waste, bacteria and microbes from your cells, which essentially lead to cleansing your body. Blood is pumped through the body by the heart. However, the lymph fluid does not have a central pump..., and it relies on muscle contraction to get around. When you do not exercise, your lymphatic system becomes slow, inefficient, and toxins start building up, leading to the development of colds, joint pain, infection and could even cause disease. Coldwater immersion leads to your lymph nodes contracting and forcing the lymphatic system to pump fluids through the body, which leads to flushing out waste from the area. This helps trigger the white blood cells so that they can get in attack mode and destroy any unwanted substances in the fluid, which leads you to feel happy and healthy. Improvement of cardiovascular function Cardiovascular circulation is a very critical part of overall health. With poor cardiovascular circulation, not only is blood flow compromised, but the heart gets stressed as well. This then leads to headaches, fatigue, high blood pressure, muscle cramps, and even heart attacks and strokes. Improved circulation helps improve heart health; it helps improve mental performance and boost one's immune system and will give you more energy to live a healthy life. While exercise and diet are great to improve cardiovascular circulation, cold water immersion can do wonders as well as it helps stimulate blood flow. When you immerse in cold water, the blood will rush around your vital organs, and this will force the heart to pump blood more efficiently, ensuring that blood reaches all the parts of your body, offering it all the nutrients and oxygen that it needs. If you do this daily, your body will receive all that it needs to stay healthy. Coldwater immersion also helps reduce muscle inflammation, it helps boost levels of happiness and also helps in your efforts towards weight loss. If you are trying to eliminate fat from your diet, you are definitely after the wrong approach to weight loss. Your body needs a certain amount of fat to function well. However, you need to distinguish between healthy and non-healthy fats and make the right decision. There are many healthy fats available out there, and a few of them include oily fish, grass-fed butter, avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, nuts and seeds. Below mentioned are a few reasons why you should make heal...thy fats a part of your diet now! Reduction in cardiovascular risk factors Fats are known to play a crucial role in cardiovascular health. Get stronger bones For calcium to be effectively incorporated into bones, fat is needed, as the vital bone-building vitamins like A, D, E and K are fat-soluble, and they are dependent on fat to get absorbed and then transported within one's body. Healthy lungs For your lungs to work correctly, the air spaces need to be covered with a layer of lung surfactants, and this is 100% saturated fatty acid. When you do not consume these healthy fats, it could lead to breathing problems. Healthy Brain Your brain is made up of fat and cholesterol. The majority of the fatty acids in your brain are saturated fats. When you do not consume a diet that is rich in saturated fat, it robs your brain of essential raw materials that are needed for its proper functioning. Omega-3 EPA and DHA Fatty acids that come to your from grass-fed beef, some nuts, seeds and oily fish are great to boost memory.
