I took some time and did a bit of research on the trends of online shopping over the last 12 months. I was not shocked by the numbers I found. In the 1st few months of lock down we saw a 99.3% increase of e-commerce, this is obviously not surprising, what is suprising is the number of stores who are staying online. We are seeing the mental health sector making big movement in the online space. You can now book quality professional therapist right from the comfort of your ...home, no sitting in uncomfortable waiting rooms. We are seeing university keeping students online and many may never return to in person learning. Online boutiques are all the trend! It's all about sharing your newest find from your favorite online boutique. With all retail being shut down places like wayfarer saw huge increase in sales and they still haven't slowed down. And probably one of my personal favorites, the online grocery store! To click and pick up has made my life so much easier We are not seeing any of this slow down, people are not only loving the safety but the convenience of online retail. If your wondering about your job security this might be the time to look into a back up plan. Cause if experts are right we won't be seeing these trend change and we will see may other employers looking to cut costs and more online. Less people to pay more profits to make and real is that simple
