I am sure that most of you know that we retired from breeding. Our website was removed and we stopped advertising. We had 4 babies the spring we retired and it was our plan to hold on to them till they were 3. We wanted to enjoy them as long as we could and have Adiva get them going under saddle. We have always felt that when the right home presented it self, we would know. That gut feeling has never steered us wrong. Very quickly 3 of our KinFolk came forward and asked to pu...rchase their favourite foals. I must admit, that I have been reluctant to post pictures of the last Homestead Morgan that will be offered for sale. HMSTD Lil Bit Of Sugar (HMSTD Cream Of The Crop x High Stepping Buttercup) is offered for sale as a 3 year old to an approved home. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but I think this picture exceeds anything I could ever say. We are extremely proud and oh so excited to announce the newest and youngest member of our KinFolk Family. Kade Gotzke fell in love with HMSTD Cranberry Kiss when she went to his Mom's (Adiva Murphy) for training and the rest as they say is history. We are so happy to see Cranberry Kiss in the hands of this fine young horseman.

We want to let everyone know that we are in the process of taking down our website. It is our plan to retain HMSTD Honeysuckle Rose and HMSTD Lil Bit Of Sugar till they are 3 and going well under saddle before placing them with their life partners. With our plan in mind, it did not make sense to continue to have an Internet presence. We do plan to post pictures from time to time on our Face Book page. It has been an incredible journey, enriched by all the beautiful foals that have graced our pastures and the wonderful KinFolk that have come into our lives because of our passion.

For the past several months we have been receiving random dialed computerized calls from the US. They come at all times of the day and especially night and when you pick up no one speaks. Our telephone provider is sadly aware of the problem and when they think they have fixed the issue, new ways are found and the calls resume. Yesterday we received our statement for the toll free line and it was a whopping $325.46, 970.3 was logged in from Michigan alone. The telephone company reversed our bill but it does not allievate the issue of consistently being awoken several times during the night. During the next 24 hours our toll free line will be taken out of service. It is sad that a few useless members of society have to ruin it for so many.
