Condominiums can be a challenge to layout sometimes. They can be small, have angles, and sometimes the occasional cement pillar. When we first saw this space, our plan did not come to us right away. It took some serious thought on how to set up the staging, and we do this for a living. What would it be like for a potential buyer walking in for the first time? This is why it is so important to remove the unknown from the dialogue. Welcome to the #PandoraProject. This project first started in Jan 2020 and was finalized a couple of months ago. Now, this was an exceptional year, as we all kn...ow, because the whole world "stopped" in March due to the infamous pandemic...so this one was stretched a little longer than anticipated. As with many design projects, the scope of work changed a few times (perks of the industry lol) ; but it kept getting bigger, and better, of course! Every design project has its challenges, and this one was no exception. My biggest challenge here was to get ALL of their wish list ticked off, and to fit it all in this tiny space. The most important items on the list were: be able to have a sit down dinner party for six people, and to create a green, lush outdoor area on the smallest concrete patio we’ve ever seen! So very thankful for my dear friend Jen Modpots who came to the rescue and added her touch of magic with a beautiful large planter installation and a wall herb garden! All great challenges that I am proud to say we solved!! Teamwork does make the dream work! Shout out to my design partner Home Style Solutions.
