2020 was a tough year. We all had to adapt, make many sacrifices and try to make the most of this new world we are living in. But if 2020 taught us one thing it was to focus on the things that matter most in our lives. Shopping local, supporting small businesses and really looking after one another stood out the most amongst all the fear and uncertainty. I don’t think things are gonna suddenly change over night with a new year on the calendar but with vaccines starting to roll out hopefully the world can get this virus situation under control and we can carry on with these values that mattered most in 2020. Picked up all the goodies for the gift I donated for the South Etobicoke Community Group fundraiser and delivered to the happy highest bidder! They have some great meals in their future from some of my favourite local #southetobicoke restaurants.

It has been over a month of daily auctions on the South Etobicoke Community Group but together with the help of local businesses and the community a total of $22,355 has been raised for South Etobicoke based charities! I would love to be able to tag everyone on this who helped make this all possible but Facebook limits to so many tags, but everyone who donated a prize, bid on auctions, made a donation to a charity or liked/shared the posts: THANK YOU!! This really was a comm...unity effort and shows just how we are able to do such amazing things when we all work together.
