I’ve been at Honda for a little under a year now as a Sales Consultant. I’ve been enjoying my new career in working to make people happy by getting them into great vehicles as my previous career was as a retail manager, and I usually only got to speak with people when they were already mad about something What do you like to do in your spare time? I typically spend my time just relaxing at home with my wife and young son. I am the apex of nerdiness, so I spend a lot of time with technology, books, games, movies, etc. What’s your favorite Honda? Surprisingly, the Odyssey is my favourite Honda. It’s like driving a cloud! So comfortable! Favorite Movie and why? Way too many to name! But, if I had to pick, it would probably be the original live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 80’s. It appeals to my late 80’s/early 90’s childhood; to my love of all things geeky/comedy; and to my interest in martial arts (I even did boxing in high school as it was the closest thing I could find in order to become a teenage not-mutant ninja, too). Tells us a fun fact? I’ve written the manuscript to a fantasy novel I hope to one day finish editing and publish.

I have a background in reception, detailing and auto body work for other dealerships including GMC, Subaru, Nissan and a general sales company. I’m currently enrolled in VCAD for my interior design diploma while still working full time. I have 2 cats named Nessy and Missy that are like my children. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I’m usually playing computer games or drawing. Favorite movie and why? is Nerve with Emma Roberts and Dave Franco. I love the music from this movie and the plot line. Tell us a fun fact? I can bend almost all of my fingers on my right hand backwards to my wrist!

I am a father to 3 beautiful girls and love them very much even though they can be a handful sometimes. ... What do you like to do in your spare time? I love going to the gym and working out. If I am not in the gym, I will be spending most of my time with my daughters watching a movie, having teatime, or going out for a hike or walk. What is your favorite Honda unit and why? My favorite Honda unit would be a 2001 Honda Prelude SH. My first car was a 1989 Honda Prelude and have loved the Prelude since day one. They have a timeless design and just overall a great car! Favorite Movie and why? This is a very difficult question to answer because I have many favorite movies in different genres. But if I must pick one, the one that stands out from the rest, I will have to go with The Dark Knight. It is a movie filled with just enough action, drama, & suspense. Also, Christian Bale played an amazing Batman, but Heath Ledger stole the show as Joker, may he R.I.P. Tells us a fun fact? I ride a 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 600 sport bike and live my life quarter mile at a time

It’s staff Saturday! Today we would like to introduce you to Matt. Matt is one of our sales associates, who loves his 3 cats ... Tells us about yourself? My name is Matej but everyone just calls me Matt. I was born in eastern Europe and moved here just about 30 years ago. I am new to car sales but loving the job and the family atmosphere here. What do you do in your spare time? Well, I spend most of my time here in the showroom, but when I get time to myself, I usually throw away the suit and get dirty working on cars. Almost all of my free time is divided between fixing, improving, and problem solving my race car and competitively racing it. It breaks often as I'm really not nice to the car. What is your favourite Honda unit and why? My favourite Honda vehicle of all time is the 1991 Honda Civic EF9. It is a specific model of the Honda Civic only released in Japan. I absolutely love this unit as it is similar to the one I use to compete with. The simple reasoning is the power to weight as well as braking and cornering ability of those cars. Favourite movie and why? Alien(1979) - It was suspenseful, intelligently written, and showcased a blue collar look at the future with several female leads. This was a ground-breaking movie for its time. Tell us a fun fact! I speak 3 languages fluently, and race cars in my spare time.
