So it’s almost spring! That means the bees come out. If you see a huge cluster of bees, call a beekeeper. Do not call a bee exterminator please. The bees ar...e not hostile. They have no eggs or honey to defend when you see them like this. They're stopping for a quick break. Please don't spray them. Contact a beekeeper and they will come out and take them! Swarms will soon be popping up across the state! They're just looking for new homes, let a beekeeper rehome them for you! SAVE THE BEES! (You can Google or search Facebook for beekeepers in your area.) See more

Hey I'm Becca (otherwise known as @MintzInk) and I am a full time resident artist at HBTC! I am so blessed for this opportunity and excited to see how far we can go with it! Having started learning to tattoo by complete chance after meeting my mentor at the hospital in 2016, I began my tattoo studies while finishing up my grade 12 classes. After working in Regina with my mentor for a year, I decided to branch off and open my own private studio. Flash forward to 2020 and I hav...e officially been living in Saskatoon for a full year, met many amazing artists and friends and have helped create a beautiful forward thinking studio to share with all of you! When not tattooing, you can find me at the beach with my cats, organizing thousands of songs into playlists or creating weird abstract paintings while dancing to obnoxiously loud music. Yes, I said taking my cats to the beach - they love it! All my life I have worked throughout my community, volunteering at many and most places around Saskatoon. My current passion work is for a more eco-friendly body mod industry and helping to create a more biodiverse city/ world to live in all while raising awareness in a way more artsy way than usual tattooing! I have now been tattooing for about 4 years off and on thanks to all of my adventures. I specialize in botanical/ natural, geometric and pointillism tattoo styles, I do however like the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone for the right tattoos & the right clients. I hope to go above and beyond with my work everyday by creating unique and breathtaking designs for each of my clients. DM or email me to book Thank you so much to @prairiepulsephoto For the amazing headshots

Meg (she/her), formerly known as Metal+Megs, is Saskatchewan-born and has resided in Saskatoon Treaty 6 Territory since 2010. Her love of body modificationspecifically body piercingbegan at the young age of 12, getting as many earlobe piercings as she could convince her mom to allow. Fast forward to the age of 18: no direction, and the end of highschool nearing. A sweet, concerned counsellor reached out with hope that there might be the chance of a lifetime out there; a pi...ercing apprenticeship. There wasn't, but eventually Meg was able to forge her own path and began training in 2012 under some of Saskatoon’s finest piercers and mentors (shout out to Randi, Dez, and Jody xo). Meg has a passion for harm-reduction, infection control and safety, and the biocompatibility of metals to the human body, more specifically when jewelry is introduced to a healing piercing. She is committed to continual learning and the evolution of the body piercing industry. When she isn’t using a needle to decorate the body with gorgeous, high-quality jewelry, you can find her working as a certified phlebotomist for Saskatoon Sexual Health, collecting too many gemstones, or snuggled up to her two sweet pups Andy and Buckley. Meg spent the last 2 years working as a phlebotomist at Royal University Hospital and the JP Children’s Hospital. She is looking forward to putting in more time at the studio to feed her creativity and passions. Catch Meg at the shop Tuesday-Saturday See more
