I might sound like a broken record but one of my favourite parts about the brand strategy process is reading your stories or your why- it never ever ever gets old. I always feel like I’m reading a beautiful fictional storybook of this incredible character but then remember that we get to become friends in real life, and I get really happy. I’ll often bring my laptop to the couch and grab a coffee and just sit in awe, we all have a backstory that brought us to where we are t...oday and being able to bring that into your branding is just so dang cool. Big things are coming this Friday because it’s website launch day!! Can I get a HELLLL YA!!! Oh man...it feels so good to say that. Through many late nights, hand cramps, cups of coffee, and mac and cheese, this site has become a project of labour and love. I’ve poured my whole self into this thing and I’m already doing a happy dance just thinking about finally being able to share it with you.... I’m ALSO so excited to be launching this site because the fun doesn’t end at its launch! *gasp* Say what now??? Hehe yup! IT’S HERE!! My brand new logo. I could not be happier or more excited to share this with you guys. I started Honeythorn in June but was so eager to launch that I didn’t put my full self or style into my logo and knew I needed to change that. I wanted a logo that represented the way I conceptualize and create art so illustrating Honeythorn into a person just made sense. ... All throughout high school and university, my paintings, drawings, and graphics always incorporated people. People are the reason I love what I do, not only here but over at @kayleelarosephotography too! I am fascinated by each and every story that someone carries with them and how that personal storybook can unfold and translate into photos and branding; it puts a soul into the work. So here she is, the full form of Honeythorn Designs. I can’t thank-you enough for following along on this journey with me and I can’t wait to see what we can create together xo
