Here we are in younger days. We went to Malden Township Council (We were not in Amherstburg yet) 35 years ago to apply to open a Bed and Breakfast. We were granted a license and were the first to open a B & B in Malden. We have had so many lovely people from all over the world stay with us, and it has been our pleasure to accommodate them and tell them about our great community. Thanks to all who supported us. We are also proud to have been founding members of the Federation of Ontario Bed and Breakfast Accommodations, a province wide organization which supported bed and breakfast. Visit Amherstburg
This year is the 100th anniversary of our beautiful home, built by Robert's grandparents, Henry A. L. and Amelia Honor. The house was designed by Thomas Lukes in the "modern" style which shows Craftsman and Prairie influences and is designated as an early example of modernism in Amherstburg. We are glad to be able to show off our unique home, and guests enjoy the cozy interiors and are impressed with the original woodwork. Visit Amherstburg

Honor's is offereing a great Spring Get Away special for two. Two nights and a basket for two of locally produced wine, and full breakfasts. All for $200.00. Enjoy country drives along the lake, visit wineries and shop and dine in the Amherstburg Heritage District.
The garden fair and tour weekend was great. Lots of people around town. The best part was the big tour coach that pulled up across Dalhousie St. from the Mudpuppy Gallery. It looked like it would hardly fit down the street.
