Here's a neat pattern with some useful tying tips. Cant wait to try it!! https://youtu.be/KOyd9Dw5KAU
Fished Badger Lake yesterday in some very serious wind. My friend Ron Schletz, and I came across a seagull that, while trying to eat a dead pike, had somehow impaled a treble hook through its beak and could not get free stuck on a short, couple inch, leash of heavy mono. Ron was able to free the bird. Despite the wnid, that blew us off early, lots of fish.
The Hook and Hackle Club now has a members area, where members are encouraged to post anything that is fly fishing and fly tying related as well as photos from fishing outings, events, and activities. The Members Area can be found at the following location: www.facebook.com/groups/525704821444248/
Since many of you are getting back on the rivers and lakes, here is a video about how important life jackets are for anglers: https://www.youtube.com/watch This link was sent to us by a fellow member and angler (Thank you!)
